Writing the book, Imagine That… has truly been a “work of heart”. The book has been inside me for some time, and I am delighted that it is now finished. This book is all about possibilities. I want children to understand their magnificence and what they can do when they believe in themselves.

In many ways this book is my “impossible”. Even though I love to write, and teach writing, I never really considered myself an author, I didn’t believe that I could write and publish a book. But then I started to imagine…

So Imagine That…is actually living proof that if you believe it, you will find a way to achieve it. I have learned so much from this experience and it has been an amazing journey of discovery. Discovery of what I can do when I believe. It also provided me with an incredible opportunity to collaborate with one of my sons, Bentley. He brought the book to life with his amazing illustrations.

My wish is that the book will inspire and motivate the children who read it. My wish is also that it will raise significant funds to help the children of Zambia, many of whom do the impossible every single day of their lives.
